The China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) Promotion Conference was held in Nanning on Dec 8.

The heads of more than 30 Fortune 500, multinational and foreign-funded enterprises based in Guangxi, including Wal-Mart, Alibaba, and Huawei, were invited to attend the conference.

Nanning, Chongzuo and the Qinzhou port area of the Guangxi FTZ introduced the investment environment, industrial advantages, and preferential policies of the Guangxi FTZ, and issued a cordial invitation to participating merchants.

The Guangxi FTZ has always been an important platform for Guangxi to attract large companies and new talent.

At the conference, corporate guests put forward their opinions on difficulties and challenges encountered during development, and relevant departments of the Guangxi FTZ answered companies' questions.

The Guangxi FTZ went to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Yangtze River Delta to connect with the domestic representative offices of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Japan External Trade Organization and the German Chamber of Commerce to carry out foreign investment-entrusted investment promotion. It also established two new foreign investment promotion representative offices this year.
