In the first 10 months of 2021, the total value of imports and exports at Qinzhou Port was 104.2 billion yuan ($16.3 billion), surpassing the total value of last year and climbing 42.1 percent year-on-year. This is the first time the value has exceeded 100 billion yuan.

Sea-rail combined transport opened 54 container routes to 106 countries and 308 ports. Thanks to the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, 14 provinces, including Sichuan, Chongqing, Yunnan, Guizhou and Gansu, have built faster channels overseas.

The main import commodities of Qinzhou Port are metals, petroleum coke and agricultural products, and the main export commodities are fertilizers, chemicals and aluminum. The imports and exports of Qinzhou Port to the Belt and Road countries this year are valued at 62.05 billion yuan so far, an increase of 48.7 percent year-on-year.

Qinzhou Port customs has optimized its business environment, established a contact mechanism with the customs of 14 ports along the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, and launched an intelligent control system in conjunction with port authorities to improve the efficiency of land-sea combined transportation.

Liu Jining, an officer of Qinzhou Port customs, said that thanks to a series of customs clearance facilitation measures, the speed of customs clearance for imported goods has been increased.
