The project aims to attract an investment volume of more than 10 billion yuan ($1.54 billion) and generate an output value of more than 100 billion yuan. It will be an industrial base that focuses on home appliance manufacturing, including white and black household goods, as well as small home appliances. White goods include washing machines, refrigerators and air conditioners; black goods include LCD panels and televisions; and small home appliances include microwave ovens, induction cookers, water heaters, rice cookers, electric ovens, clothes dryers and sweeping robots that are mainly used for kitchen work, household living and personal care.

Full-scale construction was launched in 2020, and when complete, it is expected to introduce more than 10 home appliance manufacturers, as well as upstream and downstream enterprises, attract investments of more than 1 billion yuan, and generate an annual output of more than 3 billion yuan. The project aims to achieve a production value of more than 10 billion yuan within three years, more than 30 billion yuan in five years and more than 100 billion yuan in eight years.

Based on the practical needs and development plans of the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park, the distinctive location in the GBA, the increasingly open global trade and communication environment, the requirement of a balanced urban and rural development, the 13th Five-Year Plan(2011-15) in Qinzhou and the implementation of related policies that promote restructuring, optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, the cluster area will build itself into a high-quality innovative technological industrial park. The project will also commit to promoting the prosperity of regional industrial economies and the development of industrial agglomeration.
