Hong Wenxue used to be the president of the College of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering，Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and PhD instructor of HIT as well as the professor and PhD instructor of Yanshan University.

He was the chair professor of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 2016. 

The Chinese medicine team led by Professor Hong has researched for nearly 30 years on the core problems that restrict the development of modern Chinese medicine.

Supported by more than 20 projects of the national natural science foundation,he received remarkable achievements in theory and medical products. 

The workstation of intelligent identification and nursing of human health by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) developed by Hong integrates the essence of theory of TCM treatment process and the integration results of TCM and modern intelligent technology, which provides a high-tech platform for intelligent health care and nursing with TCM.
