Advancements in Guangxi FTZ towards high-quality development
The China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone is advancing towards high-quality development.
The region has set goals to enhance its business environment, making it more convenient, cost-effective, and service-oriented for businesses. It also accelerates the creation of a first-class business environment characterized by marketization, rule of law, and internationalization.

The construction of the Beibu Gulf in Guangxi is gradually accelerating, driving the development of the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor. Since 2023, the volume of sea-rail intermodal trains on the corridor has continued increasing, and various infrastructure construction projects are progressing rapidly. Guangxi is promoting the large-scale, specialized, and intelligent development of ports, thereby enhancing the comprehensive competitiveness of the Beibu Gulf.
In terms of improving the business environment, Guangxi has implemented a series of measures, such as removing physical barriers, which have yielded significant results. The number of existing business entities and the actual investment attracted both show an increasing trend, and the "maximum one visit" rate for government service matters has reached 99.9 percent.
Guangxi has also strengthened cooperation with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and other regions, promoting transportation connectivity and accelerating the upgrading of platforms for capacity cooperation. Guangxi accelerates the construction of the China-ASEAN Industrial Cooperation Zone, facilitating the establishment of the China-ASEAN industrial and supply chain.
