The prayer ceremony for this year's Panwang Festival was held on Nov 25 in Jinxiu Yao autonomous county in Guangxi's Laibin, China's earliest established Yao autonomous county.

The Panwang Festival has a history of over 1,700 years and celebrates the historical figure Pan Hu. The festival was listed as a national-level intangible cultural heritage in 2006.

This year's festival will organize a series of activities, such as a Yao bath for thousands of people, a Yao ethnic embroidery exhibition, and a health and wellness tourism market, until its conclusion in early December.

These diverse activities have attracted a large number of tourists who are eager to experience the unique charm of Yao culture.
