The launching ceremony of Guangxi's online platform for China-ASEAN cross-border credit investigation services, part of the comprehensive service platform for Guangxi companies entering overseas markets, was held in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on July 7.
The online platform for China-ASEAN cross-border credit investigation services gives companies access to professional credit investigation reports of more than 7 million ASEAN companies and nearly 30,000 domestic foreign trade companies, allowing them to make more informed decisions related to management and investment.
Yang Chunting, an official from the Commerce Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said that the platform provides one-stop services for companies focusing on policy and regulation consultation, project matchmaking and financial insurance.
"We will further upgrade the platform's third-party service functions in areas of finance, insurance, accounting and logistics, encourage local companies to participate in global economic and trade cooperation, and accelerate the establishment of a cross-border industrial chain centering around Guangxi," added Yang.
Yang noted that Guangxi has been supporting local companies in setting up raw material supply bases for materials such as iron and copper in regions including ASEAN, South America and Africa, while helping companies to form cross-border industrial and supply chains in sectors such as agriculture, sugar, machinery and equipment manufacturing and minerals.
