Health-promoting bullet train in action

China's first bullet train committed to disseminating health knowledge left Nanning East Railway Station for its maiden run on Dec 13. Various health-related activities will be held inside the train next year.

The train contains 613 seats in eight carriages and runs for 12 hours every day. Promotional slogans and posters can be found everywhere inside the train, including door windows, display panels, and fold-away tables in front of seats. Televisions also broadcast videos related to national action plans and public health service projects.

The train will help Guangxi raise health awareness among the masses as more than 1.36 million citizens are expected to ride it every year.
