Guangxi launches measures for tourism promotion
Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has launched a series of policies and measures in order to improve the popularity and influence of the Guangxi tourism brand and promote the prosperity of Guangxi's tourism market.
Guangxi has beautiful scenery, rich ethnic characteristics and a pleasant climate, especially in winter. It has always been an important winter destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
From Dec 1, 2018 to Jan 31, 2019, tourists from 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Chongqing, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu and Ningxia, will enjoy preferential policies including a 50 percent discount on tickets for Guangxi A-level scenic spots.
Airlines will newly open or add travel overtime charters from 13 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities to Guangxi, and airports in Guangxi will be exempted from aviation service charges.
During the time, 7-seat and below 7-seat passenger cars from the above-mentioned 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities can enjoy a 50 percent discount on vehicle tolls in Guangxi.
The price of three-star tourist hotels in the region will be set at a price not higher than the preferential price of the same period last year.
Tourism enterprises will be given a reward of 20,000 yuan ($2878.57) per trip if they organize charter flights for 100 tourists or more from the above 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities to Guangxi. The tourists should stay in three-star hotels in Guangxi for no less than three nights.
Tourism enterprises will also be given a reward of 20,000 yuan per trip if the enterprise organizes a special train for 300 or more tourists from the above 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities to Guangxi. The tourists should stay in three-star hotels in Guangxi for no less than three nights.
During the event, Guangxi will also introduce measures to strengthen the supply of tourism products, as well as tourism market services and supervision, to ensure that tourists have fun.
