Zhanjiang will build a highway network including ring roads of urban, bay area, and peninsula. It will build Leizhou branch line of Yulin-Zhanjiang Highway, Longtousha branch line of Chongqing-Zhanjiang Highway, and Caotan, Yuemin, Wushi, Jiaowei, Qianshan, Dongli branch lines of Zhanjiang-Xuwen Highway.

It plans to build the Zhanjiang section of the Guangdong Coastal Tourism Highway and the Dongtoushan Island Cross-sea Bridge.

Construction of Shugang Avenue, the second phase of Xicheng Express Line, the reconstruction and expansion of Maoming-Zhanjiang Expressway and the Nansan Island Bridge of Huancheng Expressway will start.

The city will accelerate the construction of the Donghai Island-Leizhou Expressway, the Wuchuan branch line of the Shantou-Zhanjiang Expressway, and the Tiaoshun Cross-sea Bridge.

This year, Zhanjiang will increase local financial support, speed up the upgrading of the provincial and provincial roads, and complete an annual investment of 5 billion yuan ($726.11 million).
