The 134th edition of the China Import and Export Fair, or the Canton Fair, opens in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province on Oct 15 and run until Nov 4 in three phases.

It has an exhibition area of 1.55 million square meters and includes 55 display zones. A total of 28,500 enterprises will participate in the exhibition.

Launched in 1957, the Canton Fair is held twice per year in Guangzhou, during spring and autumn. It is known as "China's No 1 fair".

The fair facilitates trade cooperation between China and other countries and regions worldwide by allowing for one-stop negotiations and purchases among domestic and foreign enterprises.
