・ Dec 13-16: Part of the program, the first culinary skills contest designed for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province.
2019
・ March 8: A seminar on east-west cooperation in poverty alleviation is held in Guangdong. Officials from human resources and social security departments of seven provinces and autonomous regions attend the event, where the Cantonese Cuisine Chefs program is introduced into the interprovincial collaboration in poverty relief.
・ Aug 22: The launch ceremony for the Guangdong Domestic Services program, is held in Maoming, Guangdong province.
・ Dec 30: A plan is issued to promote the implementation of the Guangdong Skilled Workers program.

2020
・ July 15: The first Guangdong Provincial Vocational Skills Competition is held in Guangzhou.
・ Aug 6: Guangdong starts to encourage domestic service providers to develop in business operations and names 13 provincial-level industry-leading companies and 18 good faith model enterprises.
・ Dec 10: The first National Vocational Skills Competition is held in Guangzhou.
2021
・ March: The first provincial domestic services competition, as part of the Guangdong Domestic Services program, is opened to contestants to sign up.
・ Nov 2: A meeting on advancing the three programs to serve rural vitalization is held in Chaozhou.
