Lionsgate Entertainment World opened in Hengqin New Area on July 31 as the film company's first themed immersive experience center.

Spanning 22,000 square meters of indoor space on four floors are more than 30 attractions based on the Hollywood studio's film franchises Hunger Games, The Twilight Saga, Gods of Egypt, The Divergent Series, Now You See Me, and Escape Plan.

High-end augmented and virtual reality combine film scenes with innovative design to create pioneering, immersive, and diversified adventures.

Opening ceremony

The center is in Novotown Phase I at 91 Tianyudao Road. The location is a five-minute drive from the new Hengqin Port and home to a mix of cultural, entertainment and retail offerings including the National Geographic Ultimate Explorer and the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

Phase II will have Real Madrid Football World, the Ducati Motorcycle Theme Experience Center, and Innovation Leadership Academy (ILA) Hengqin, according to Hong Kong conglomerate Lai Sun Group, the investor.
