China (Guangdong)-Singapore Media and Culture Exchange Week launched in Singapore
China (Guangdong)-Singapore Media and Culture Exchange Week commenced in Singapore on June 6, featuring a range of on and offline activities aimed at increasing mutual communication.
The event is jointly organized by Nanfang Media Group, one of Guangdong's largest media groups, and Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Chinese Media Group, the biggest Chinese media group in Singapore.
At the opening ceremony, the two media groups signed a cooperative agreement to build the Singapore-Guangdong International Communication Platform, which will be the first long-term cooperative media system established by the two regions.

Guangdong Provincial Publishing Group also signed an agreement with World Scientific Publishing to jointly establish an international editorial department.
The exchange week is the first stop of the Charming China. Guangdong Culture Week, which is being organized by the Guangdong Information Office.
In the upcoming week, Nanfang Media Group's Newsgd.com and SPH Chinese Media Group's Zaobao.com will publish special report "A Singaporean take on Guangdong" and hold exchange activities for audiences in Singapore and Guangdong.
