Li Gaoyang-sax

Li began learning music at the age of four and is considered one of the best new-generation sax players, educationists and composers in China. He represents the highest-level of jazz and sax from the country and is also the first Chinese jazz player to be featured on the website All About Jazz.

Two famous American jazz musicians, Jerry Bergonzi and George Garzone, have tutored Li over the years. Li's performances mix a variety of music styles including hard bop, post-bop, free jazz, funk and fusion.

Li has a rich stage experience and has been invited to perform in many countries, including Russia, the US, Sweden, Denmark and Estonia.
