Han Buxing

Introduction:

Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and member of the World Academy of Sciences, fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, distinguished professor of East China Normal University, honorary professor of Nottingham University, the director of the Key Laboratory of Colloid Interface and chemical thermodynamics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the director of Shanghai Key Laboratory of Green Chemistry and Chemical Processes, full professor at the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

He is mainly engaged in the interdisciplinary research on physical chemistry and green chemistry, and has made systematic achievements in the research of thermodynamics of green solvents system and the application of green solvents in chemical reactions and material synthesis. He has won one Second Prize of National Natural Science Award, one Second Prize of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Award, and J Colloid Interf. Sci. Journal Lifetime Achievement Award, three Science and Technology Awards at the ministerial and provincial-level (not first accomplisher).
