Session on Vocational Education: Technology Commercialization & Matching of Supply and Demand of Technological and Technical Talent
Only when scientific and technological achievements are transformed into productive forces can the cycle from basic research to product application and industrial transformation be completed.
Technicians and skilled workers, as the vanguard in bridging the "last mile" of scientific and technological achievement transformation, are essential for the construction of an intelligent Greater Bay Area.
To better promote the in-depth integration of scientific and technological achievements and talent supply and demand during the forum, and to support the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Science and Technology Innovation Center, the Chinese Society for Technical and Vocational Education (CSTVE) plans to leverage the role of a new type of think tank. It will collaborate with organizations such as the Chinese Institute of Electronics (CIE) and mobilize academicians, scientists and other scientific and technological talents to hold a sub-forum on "Technology Commercialization & Matching of Supply and Demand of Technological and Technical Talent" at the 2023 Greater Bay Area Science Forum.
The sub-forum will focus on the cultivation of scientific and technological achievement transformation and the required technical and skilled talents, aiming to promote the integration of industry and education, the integration of science and education, and the integrated development of education, science, and talent in the bay area.
