Ningxia - China and Central Asian countries have maintained a long-term friendship. Their relationship and cooperation have been elevated to a higher level since the first China-Central Asia Summit held last year in Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.
To implement the summit's outcomes, the 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum was held in Northwest China’s Ningxia. This forum gathered around 300 guests from China and abroad, including leaders from China and Central Asian countries, foreign diplomats, experts and scholars, and business representatives.
Besides the forum, four parallel sub-forums and a slew of activities like the inauguration of China (Ningxia) - Central Asia Youth Friendship Camp and the unveiling ceremony of the Central Asia Specialty Goods Exhibition and Sales Center were held to expand pragmatic cooperation between China and the five Central Asian countries in trade and investment, culture, science and technology, digital economy, and modern agriculture. Additionally, an initiative of the 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum has also been released during the forum.
The forum concluded with fruitful results. Companies, institutions, and universities from China and other countries signed 35 projects worth RMB 11.2 billion yuan covering agriculture, manufacturing, and other areas.
Guests from multiple countries spoke highly of the China-Central Asia Forum. They believe that it is an ideal platform for cooperation and dialogues that will cement the relationship between China and Central Asian countries and boost the region's development.
