The China Xiazhimen (Putuo) International Shipping Industrial Park opened on Dec 19 in Putuo district, Zhoushan, aiming to become the largest specialized shipping industrial park in China and a key center for ship repair and spare parts services.
Located on the Zhujiajian Island, the industrial park spans over 30,000 square meters. It features technical repair work areas, material warehouses, and docks, so it can offer one-stop services such as technical support, material supply, and crew changes for anchored ships.
The park is strategically located near the Mazhi, Xiazhimen, and Tiaozhoumen anchorages, making it the preferred site for integrated maritime services.

Unlike the previously scattered shipping service enterprises, the China Xiazhimen (Putuo) International Shipping Industrial Park offers one-stop services and even on-site services, providing a convenient and efficient experience.
"We can provide repairs right at the anchorage, which significantly reduces repair time and costs for shipowners," said Tong Hongying, chairman of Zhoushan Hongyuan Ship Engineering Co.
On the opening day of the park, eight companies in fields such as shipping, logistics, and repairs signed contracts to move in. The park is managed by Seacon Shipping Group Holdings Limited, one of the world's top ten and China's leading shipping service providers.
