Zhoushan's Xiaogan Island Maritime Service Industrial Park has officially launched its first one-stop service, marking a significant development milestone.
The park, which is accelerating construction, has already attracted 13 companies, including Italy's Giobasen, and is in talks with leading global oil testing labs, ship equipment service providers, and spill response equipment suppliers.
On Aug 17, the foreign oil tanker Nordpenguin received a comprehensive suite of services – including including low-sulfur fuel, diesel, lubricants, material supplies, and crew changes – at the Xiushan East Anchorage, with goods valued at nearly 2.6 million yuan ($364,291). This marked the first time such services, excluding fuel, were provided through the Xiaogan Island Maritime Service Industrial Park, indicating the official operation of the "park plus anchorage" model.
With an 8,500-square-meter warehouse and a newly-operational 2,000-metric-ton supporting dock, the park is set to enhance Zhoushan's maritime service capabilities, aiming to establish itself as a key player in the international maritime services market.
