The container ship XH Dolphin docked at the Yongzhou container terminal of Ningbo Zhoushan Port in Zhejiang province on June 19.
As the inaugural vessel of the EWL Red Sea Line, the ship will load 700 twenty-foot equivalent units of household appliances, clothing, and other goods, destined for Jeddah Port in Saudi Arabia.
The terminal currently services 35 routes under the Belt and Road Initiative, connecting to over 60 major ports in regions such as Russia, West Africa, and East Africa.
From January to May, the terminal handled the export of 295,500 TEUs on Belt and Road Initiative routes, marking a 15.1 percent year-on-year increase.
