Wushitang Scenic Spot

Updated : 2020-05-11

Those looking for the ideal getaway in early summer should consider the Wushitang Scenic Spot in Zhoushan.

Wushitang got its name from its beach, which is paved with black stones. The Chinese word "Wushi" means "black stone" in English.

The stones are translucent and round as they are eroded by seawater throughout the year. They also glitter in the sunlight.

Visitors to Wushitang can also enjoy the laidback lifestyle in Wushizi village.

Going fishing and tasting seafood such as crab and shrimp at a local homestay are also some attractive options for tourists.

The admission fee for Wushitang is 40 yuan ($5.79) during the peak tourism season (April 29 - Oct 31) and 30 yuan throughout the rest of the year.
