Nansha Scenic Area in Zhujiajian Island, Zhoushan, East China's Zhejiang province, takes on a new look after eight months of renovations.

A music fountain and a large sightseeing bridge have been built to add to the charm of the scenic area.

"Cars can drive on the bridge while visitors can walk beneath to ensure their safety," said Fu Jianbo, an engineer of a local tourism development company in charge of the renovations. 

Fu added that more than 600 steel tubes were used for the bridge to form a wave shape, and hundreds of LED lights were installed.

The parking lot near the scenic area was also renovated.

"The old parking lot is now paved with asphalt instead of stone, and we have divided the lot into many parking spaces so that cars can more easily find a spot," said Fu.
