Shaped like a wings-stretching seagull which is about to fly, Huaniao (literally meaning flower and bird) Island, the northernmost island of Zhoushan Archipelago, gains its name from the numerous flowers and elegant plants here.

花鸟岛，舟山群岛最北的岛屿，因岛形如飞鸟展翅、山上花草丛生得名。
