The 27th Keqiao Textile Expo in Shaoxing, China, concluded on Nov 8 and is held twice a year, once in spring and once in autumn, showcasing the latest trends in the textile industry.

This three-day industry event leverages the advantages of both industry and market. It brings together high-quality exhibitors and showcases innovation across the textile value chain — from raw materials to end-product design — and aims to build a textile industry hub with global influence.

This year's expo features over 2,600 booths, more than 800 exhibitors, and a total exhibition area of 48,000 square meters — a 7 percent increase compared to last year.

The expo is divided into six sections: New Materials, Textile Fabrics, Textile Machinery, Digital Printing, Fashion Design, and Guofeng Apparel (Chinese-style fashion). Main exhibits include textile fabrics and accessories, garments, home textiles, and creative designs, attracting more than 20 overseas purchasing delegations from India, Turkiye and Kyrgyzstan.

Spanning three days, the expo saw a surge in booth numbers, buyers, and overseas buyers by18 percent,12 percent,and 36 percent respectively. Around 30 percent of exhibitors secured orders, 40 percent obtained intentional orders, with many securing orders for over 50,000 meters of fabrics or more than two machines.

Over 62 percent of exhibitors have reserved booths for next year's spring expo, and most buyers expressed their willingness to attend again.
