Over 60 Zhejiang companies participate in 8th China-Eurasia Expo
The 8th China-Eurasia Expo was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, from June 26 to 30.
This was the only national-level, international comprehensive expo in China targeting Eurasian countries. More than 60 companies from Zhejiang participated, aiming to leverage this open platform to enter the Central Asian market.
Textiles are a prominent industry in both Zhejiang and Xinjiang. Zhejiang Weihuan Machinery Co, headquartered in Zhuji county-level city, showcased its intelligent sock-knitting machines at the expo.
"Our products are exported to over 50 countries and regions. In the Eurasian market, we have sock manufacturing clusters in Iran and Uzbekistan. Our technical team, with over 10 members, provides ongoing support for equipment installation and personnel training overseas," said sales manager Lou Lijiang.
"Leveraging Xinjiang's unique policy, geographical, and resource advantages, Zhejiang companies can fully utilize both domestic and international markets and resources. This will better integrate them into the dual circulation economic model, contributing to the Belt and Road Initiative and creating new opportunities for joint development," said Zhu Wenqi, a researcher at the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province.
