Parallel session of 2024 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week opens in Shaoxing
The parallel session of the 2024 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week, coupled with the Cross-Strait Youth Innovation and Startup Competition, was held in Shaoxing on June 13.
This competition was attended by guests from Shaoxing and Taiwan, including, Shi Huifang, deputy Party secretary and mayor of Shaoxing, to discuss the future of the Cross-Strait (Shaoxing) Digital Industry Cooperation Zone.
The event was aimed to build a new channel for excellent projects to land and develop in Shaoxing, and add new vitality to the development of the cooperation zone. The main event focused on the digital economy, cultural creativity, intelligent manufacturing, and other cutting-edge areas, helping innovative and promising projects take root and thrive.
Shaoxing has always been a hot spot of cross-Strait communication. Since July 2023, the city has attracted 31 Taiwan enterprises and signed agreements for 19 Taiwan-funded projects, with a total investment of 47.5 billion yuan ($6.54 billion).
