Shaoxing turns grain silos into runway

In the Fuquan subdistrict of Shaoxing's Keqiao district, six grain silos were transformed into an eye-catching runway on May 11.
These silos, once used by local residents to store wheat and grains, were part of an prominent storage site in Zhejiang province. The newly added white circular runway evoked a time tunnel, taking the audience back to the days when these silos were full of grain.
An official from Fuquan subdistrict explained that the event brought together top domestic and international fashion designers with premium fabric companies.

This convergence allowed for the fusion of trendy fabrics with diverse designs, certain to play a role in guiding future fashion trends. The show established a connection between downstream apparel development and upstream fabric suppliers.
While enjoying the fashion show, business owners had the opportunity to engage directly with designers and select styles. They could also connect closely with fabric suppliers, enhancing communication and efficiency across the industry chain.
