Shengzhou launches new energy vehicle innovation center
Shengzhou in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, hosted the New Energy Vehicle Smart Innovation Development Conference on April 24, gathering industry leaders, scholars, and business representatives for collaborative discussions aimed at advancing the new energy vehicle sector.
During the event, Shengzhou unveiled the Yangtze River Delta Smart New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center in partnership with TongJi University. This initiative focuses on automotive manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and new energy industries, fostering university-industry cooperation and driving research and development of key technologies.
TongJi University's School of Automotive Studies, known for its contributions to green and intelligent automotive development, will play an important role in advancing research achievements into practical applications.
Shengzhou's efforts to bolster its new energy equipment industry are evident, with the introduction of 28 landmark projects totaling 32.8 billion yuan ($4.55 billion), centered around key companies like BYD.
The conference also featured signings for various university-industry cooperation projects, including innovation and entrepreneurship bases and talent cultivation initiatives.
Moreover, industry symposiums and innovation and entrepreneurship meetings provided platforms for experts and scholars to brainstorm strategies for invigorating Shengzhou's new energy vehicle industry.
