On April 18, the Shanghai Ranking Consultancy unveiled its highly anticipated "2024 Best Chinese Universities Ranking," spotlighting the academic prowess of institutions across the nation.

Among the 594 universities recognized, Zhejiang showcased its educational excellence with six esteemed institutions securing positions within the top 100. Zhejiang University maintained its illustrious status within the top three for an impressive decade, while Zhejiang University of Technology soared to the 64th rank.

Zhejiang University seized the third spot nationally, outperforming its provincial counterparts. Additionally, Zhejiang University of Technology, Ningbo University, Zhejiang Normal University, Wenzhou Medical University, and Hangzhou Dianzi University all earned coveted positions within the top 100 nationally.

Noteworthy advancements were observed, with Zhejiang Normal University ascending by an impressive 12 places, while both Zhejiang University of Technology and Ningbo University made steady progressions by six ranks.

In the field of cooperative education, the University of Nottingham Ningbo China secured the third position nationwide, while Wenzhou-Kean University claimed the eighth spot, reaffirming Zhejiang's commitment to fostering global academic collaborations and excellence.
