At the Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports and Culture Center on Oct 7, the South Korean team clinched a 2-0 victory over Chinese Taipei, securing the gold medal in the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games baseball and softball events.

For the 176 core staff members and 863 dedicated volunteers at the Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports and Culture Center, this evening will undoubtedly be unforgettable.

They bore witness to one baseball and softball miracle after another. Over the past 11 days, athletes from nine baseball teams and eight softball teams from across Asia challenged their limits and transcended themselves.

Volunteer Zheng Wangxin's baseball cap was adorned with the signatures of over a dozen athletes, signaling the culmination of her Asian Games journey.

"It's quite bittersweet. I've grown accustomed to my daily volunteer duties, and these days have been a tremendous learning experience. I truly cherish this chapter in my life," she said.
