Shaoxing in East China's Zhejiang province has dispensed 32.46 million yuan ($5.1 million) in relief fund to help residents shrug off the impacts of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, which began on last year's Dec 5.

To date, the regional COVID-19 outbreak has well been brought under control.

The city made use of the Zheliban mobile application for residents to deal with administrative affairs, communicate with local government, and streamline the fund's application.
