Shaoxing yellow rice wine is an outstanding representative of Chinese yellow rice wine and the "golden name card" of Shaoxing in Zhejiang province. The city's history of brewing wine can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn period (770-476 BC). 

Shaoxing Yellow Rice Wine City is located beside the ancient Guangxiang Bridge and Shaoxing River, and covers more than 28,000 square meters. The Yellow Rice Wine Museum, as the core attraction, is the first professional museum themed on yellow rice wine culture in China, and occupies nearly 10,000 sq m.

The museum showcases the long history and culture of yellow rice wine through a variety of displays. It is divided into a wine history hall, a wine art hall, a 3D film hall, and an underground wine cellar which houses 4,350 jars of aged yellow rice wine.

To offer tourists a better experience, the yellow rice wine city has come up with a series of special activities, such as yellow rice wine appreciation and customized tours, including a cultural tour and a food tour.
