The annual celebrations for Sanyuesan Festival are set to kick off on March 29 in Jingning She autonomous county in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, according to local media.

Sanyuesan Festival is a traditional festival of She ethnic group that is held on the third day of the third month of the Chinese calendar. This year, it falls on March 31.

Jingning has collaborated with over 40 partners this year, including Alibaba and Shanghai Juyi Cosmetics Co, to present 12 events and 15 sub-events. The festival promises a unique springtime look at She ethnic culture.

The highlight of the celebrations is to blend cultural heritage with innovation. Traditional events like grand parades and blessing ceremonies will be paired with modern twists, such as specialty markets, anime exhibitions, and motorcycle tours.

Innovative cultural tourism products about wumi rice as a kind of glutinous rice and Huiming Tea will let visitors experience the delicacies of She ethnic group and the tea culture of Jingning.

To improve the tourist experience, Jingning will offer free public transport, parking, and volunteer services during the festival.
