Registration for the 2025 Lishui Marathon opened on Dec 31 and the event is set to take place on March 30 in Liandu district, Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province.

Having hosted six previous editions, the event has witnessed the sweat and glory of countless runners to date. This year's race features a marathon, a half-marathon, and a fun run, with a total of 20,000 participants. The marathon will host 5,000 runners, the half-marathon 7,000 and the fun run 8,000.

This year's finisher medals of all categories are crafted from Longquan celadon porcelain, an intangible cultural heritage item.

Lishui, known as the "Green Valley of Zhejiang", is a dazzling gem nestling in the southwest of the province. A national-level ecological pilot area, its forest coverage reaches an impressive 79.1 percent.

The participants now set to step onto the 2025 event's course, will be surrounded by lush mountains and flowing streams – with each breath filled with refreshing negative ions, offering an unparalleled sense of relaxation.
