Lishui's economic performance sees stable growth in November
According to data released by the Lishui municipal statistics bureau on Dec 22, the city's economic performance saw stable growth in November.
In November, the added value of industries above a designated size reached 4.31 billion yuan ($590.53 million), a year-on-year increase of 9.7 percent, an acceleration of 0.7 percentage points compared to October.
Investment continued to expand. In key sectors, investment in energy, transportation, and water management grew by 55.1 percent, 42.7 percent, and 22.5 percent, respectively. Infrastructure investment rose by 31.9 percent, while industrial investment increased by 7.8 percent.
Total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to 7.61 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1 percent, outpacing the national and provincial growth rates by 1.1 and 3.1 percentage points, respectively.
From January to November, the total value of imports and exports reached 38.03 billion yuan, up 13.1 percent year-on-year. Exports alone accounted for 33.07 billion yuan, growing by 18.7 percent, surpassing the national and provincial growth rates by 12 and 9.7 percentage points, respectively.
In November, the consumer price index for urban residents in Lishui rose by 0.7 percent year-on-year. From January to November, the CPI increased by 0.4 percent year-on-year.
