An exciting Oujiang Jiaolong performance took place on the Oujiang River in Yunhe county – administered by Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province – on June 3, during the Dragon Boat Festival.
The Oujiang Jiaolong literally means a dragon on the Oujiang River. With a history of more than 300 years, the folk activity combines the local boat culture and the wooden dragon lantern culture.

The Oujiang Jiaolong performed on June 3 was 280 meters long, with more than 100 sections. Under the command of a professional choreographer, the "dragon" moved swiftly on the water surface, posing with different gestures.
It is said that the Oujiang Jiaolong performance has evolved from a simple dragon dance into a comprehensive folk celebration that attracts the attention of the whole country. It has been included in the fifth batch of Lishui's representative list of intangible cultural heritage.
