Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province has a long history of 1,400 years and it is particularly known for its benign environment and for the revolutionary tourist attractions in southeast Zhejiang.
In order to better develop Lishui's brand, the city recently held a competition to seek out creative designs to be used as signature souvenirs. After the evaluation of experts, 10 souvenirs with distinctive Lishui features were identified.
The 10 souvenirs are all practical goods that can be used in people's everyday lives, but are nonetheless creatively designed based on Lishui's characteristic customs, handicrafts and other intangible cultural heritage, tourism and culture.
