Lishui city gets two national-level incubators

The Torch High Technology Industry Development Center – which is under the aegis of the Ministry of Science and Technology – recently released its list of national sci-tech business incubators for 2021.
Among those recognized were the sci-tech incubator park and the Green Valley Information Industrial Park in the Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone – located in Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province – becoming the first two national sci-tech business incubators in the city.
A national sci-tech business incubator is a service carrier that aims to promote the transformation of sci-tech achievements and cultivate high-tech enterprises and entrepreneurs.
The number of resident enterprises in the sci-tech incubator park in the Lishui development zone to date has increased 69.64 percent compared with the number in 2019. The number of invention patent applications has grown by 77.57 percent during the same period.
In 2017, the Green Valley Information Industrial Park started operating, becoming a core area for the development of the digital economy and the headquarters economy in Lishui.
In recent years, the park has attracted a number of software and information service enterprises to locate operations there, employing nearly 7,000 staff members. It has also become a magnet for young entrepreneurs in Lishui.
As of December 2021, the park had nurtured 25 enterprises, including four high-tech enterprises.
