With the climbing temperature of spring, fireflies have returned to the Jiulong National Wetland Park in Lishui city, East China's Zhejiang province, flashing and sparkling in the grass, woods and forests when night falls.
The fireflies are expected to last for about one month. Continuous warm nights are the best time for appreciating these lovely creatures.
Due to the need for novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control measures, the Jiulong National Wetland Park now opens at 7 pm every night and no more than 250 people may enter the park every half hour.
Entry to the park is free of charge, but early registration is required before entering.
