Zhejiang builds dedicated center to protect cultural relics
On Feb 16, Zhejiang authorities launched in the provincial capital of Hangzhou the construction of a protection center for the province's cultural relics that were excavated in recent archaeological discoveries.
The center is located near the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City in Hangzhou's Yuhang district.
It will have a floor space of 37,000 square meters and is expected to receive 183 million yuan ($28.86 million) in investment.
It will include dedicated spaces for the storage and restoration of and research on cultural relics.
