Last year, Lishui city's Suichang county in East China's Zhejiang province saw an increase in its industrial output value of enterprises above a designated scale – those whose annual main business revenue is 20 million yuan or more – by 44.4 percent, exceeding 20 billion yuan for the first time.

A total of 28 industrial enterprises above a designated scale were newly added, totaling to 114.

In recent years, Suichang has focused on the transformation and innovative development of an eco-friendly industrial economy, supported by the upgrading of its traditional industries and the cultivation of emerging industries.

Since last year, with the investment of some industrial leading enterprises in Suichang, such as Alibaba and Netease, a batch of digital economy enterprises were lured to settle there.
