East China's Zhejiang province on Jan 5 held a grand groundbreaking ceremony for a raft of key projects scheduled to start construction at the start of 2022.

Among them were 30 major projects in Zhejiang's Lishui city, with a total investment of 19.3 billion yuan ($3.03 billion).

About 57 percent of the projects in Lishui were major industrial projects, 17 percent were infrastructure projects and 26 percent were urban organic renewal projects and planned public services projects. 

They are expected to optimize Lishui's industrial layout, improve its urban services functions and provide better lives for locals.
