Li Shui Spring, a high-end mineral water brand from Lishui city in East China's Zhejiang province, will soon come into mass production, local media reported recently.
The production base of Li Shui Spring is located in Longquan – a county-level city administered by Lishui – where there is high-quality water with a large flow. With a total investment of 130 million yuan ($20.47 million), the base has three production lines, each of which can produce 36,000 bottles of water per hour.
"We have the most advanced mineral water production lines in China. The production capacity is three times that of ordinary factories, but the labor is reduced by more than three quarters," said the person in charge of the base.
Known as "China's first ecological city", Lishui has compelling green advantages. With its continuous promotion of pilot projects aimed at realizing the value of its natural products, the city has established a number of regional consumer brands including Li Shui Spring.
