The 2021 China Economic Summit Forum and the 19th China Economic Figures of the Year were held in Shanghai on Dec 27-28. A list of the top 10 demonstration zones for business environment innovation in China was unveiled during the event.

The Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone, located in East China's Zhejiang province, was on that list.

The Lishui development zone has been striving to provide tailor-made and life-long management and services for its residence projects in recent years, making the "soft environment" of business become the strong support for project construction.

In addition, the development zone regards environmental protection as one of its top priorities. Since the beginning of this year, Lishui development Zone has improved its ecological environment through the establishment of a process monitoring platform and other measures leading to days of good and fairly good air quality accounting for 99.6 percent. 

From January to November this year, 195 new projects chose to land in the Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone, accounting for 171.1 percent of the total number of projects in 2020. Among them, 24 projects had started construction, and 43 projects had investments of over 100 million yuan ($15.58 million).
