Three online exhibition live talks were held during the recent 2021 Lishui Photography Festival, staged in the city of Lishui in East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 17-21.
The talks were held about the international online exhibitions showing in the festival's 3D live exhibition hall.
The online exhibitions were the FORMAT Festival: un/natural, the Departure: Yale MFA photography exhibition and the Photolucida Photography Festival: Human/nature.
During the live talks, curators of the three exhibitions took photography enthusiasts on a tour of their exhibitions through video link and carried out real-time interactive exchanges.
FORMAT is one of UK's leading festivals of international photography, established in 2004. In 2019, the FORMAT Festival and the Lishui Photography Festival started cooperating and have been conveying exhibitions to each other since.
The Departure: Yale MFA photography exhibition presented the works of nine graduates of the Yale School of Art's Master of Fine Arts program – featuring photographs, videos and installations. The graduates completed their education during the COVID-19 pandemic and faced many unexpected limitations and challenges.
Photolucida is a professional photography organization based in Portland, in the US, whose mission is to connect and inspire photographers worldwide.
