The 2nd Jingning Talent Science and Technology Summit was held in Jingning She autonomous county – under the jurisdiction of the prefecture-level city of Lishui, in East China's Zhejiang province – on Nov 2. 

A raft of talent science and tech projects were signed at the opening ceremony – among them, the Zhejiang Society for Electric Power and the Jingning government signed off on a contract. Meanwhile, Zhejiang Wanli University's College of Design Art and Architecture, as well as Zhejiang University of Technology's China Institute for Small and Medium Enterprises, reached agreement with Jingning on six schools in the region. 

A foundation plaque unveiling ceremony was also held for the two talent introduction centers – the Shanghai Outstanding Contribution Expert Association and the Sino-French Innovation Cooperation Accelerator Center.

Jingning – as well as the Tibet autonomous region, the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and the provinces of Sichuan and Hunan – jointly released a "global declaration of common prosperity of the tourism boost national regions" at the event. 

This was to expand the sharing of experience and practical knowledge among the areas, to help develop region-wide tourism.
