Lishui Economic and Technological Development Zone in Lishui, Zhejiang province, signed an industrial innovation service complex project on July 21, local media reported.

Seven university research platforms signed to join the project. They are China Jiliang University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, Sichuan University, Zhejiang University, Ningbo University of Technology, Lishui University, and Lishui Vocational and Technical College.

According to officials, the project will enable the development zone to gather and integrate innovation resources, accelerate the construction of a regional innovation system and realize high-quality green development.

The project includes two parts – a rolling functional parts industrial innovation service complex and a fashion synthetic leather industrial innovation service complex.

The complexes are expected to gather various resources and help to form an industrial innovation service ecosystem with rational spatial distribution, clear functional hierarchy, prominent supporting roles and outstanding demonstration effects.
