A seminar on cooperation between Shanghai and Lishui in green finance was held in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, on Jan 16.

Leaders and experts from financial institutions in Shanghai headquarters, universities around the country and people in relevant financial fields discussed green finance in a bid to contribute to the high-quality green development of Lishui.

The seminar aimed to give full play to the resource advantages of Shanghai financial headquarters, speed up the pilot mechanism for realizing the value of financial assistance to ecological products, and inject new momentum and vitality into high-quality green development.

During the event, experts delivered speeches on topics such as commercial banks helping Lishui achieve high-quality green development, evaluating green technology value, insurance funds participating in green finance construction, opportunities and challenges of comprehensively deepening reform of the capital market, and value realization mechanisms for financial support of ecological products.

Some participants at the seminar also went to Lishui's Liandu district and Songyang county to conduct field research into matters such as a meteorological index for agricultural products, price index insurance and green tourism bonds.
