Recently, Li Qiao from the natural resources and planning bureau of Jingning She autonomous county in Lishui, East China's Zhejiang province, submitted an application for housing subsidies for high-level talents to the county's housing and construction bureau.

According to the previous process, Li would have gone to various government departments to examine and gain a seal, and then to the county's Party committee talent office which issues subsidies. But this time, thanks to a new talent service mechanism, he submitted his basic personal information to the housing and urban-rural development bureau and completed his personal application.

"By creating an online 'home for talents', we have realized a consulting service of the talent policy and a tracking service of the whole process of online applications for high-level talents, which has eliminated the previous trouble of dealing with several department, greatly shortened processing times and improved work efficiency," said a person in charge of Jingning county Party committee talent office.

Since earlier in 2020, applications for housing subsidies for high-level talents have been handled by the county housing and construction department and the human social security department.

Additionally, in view of possible confusion in the handling of affairs, Jingning collected the project approval process, material requirements, contact information and other information related to personnel services on online platforms, providing applicants with a one-stop service.
